Each participant will also receive three continuing education hours through the state of Illinois. A little about me, Carrie!
I began my post-high school career studying to become a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing. While teaching post-college, I decided to pursue my desire to become a cosmetologist as a "back up", and ended up falling in love with this profession. Since I began this journey almost 20 years ago, I have since become an educator in this industry with DreamCatchers Hair Extensions, Cosmo by Cosmopolitan Hair Extensions, and for Bosley MD.

And just recently, a friend and I added The Fika Boutique. This boutique sprang out of an idea that we had after we saw a need for a small boutique in our area that focuses on most items that are made in the USA and that are affordable. We are still in the beginning stages of building an inventory, but we plan to continue to build by offering limited sizes of each style as to be able to turn over inventory quickly. Unless there is an item that we see we need to restock, we will continue to offer new items to replace ones purchased. We hope you love them!
